“DAFFODILS”

2017 has been the year of “impossible” projects for me.
After a book about a comet that had to look mostly the same from page to page and do nothing but fly, next came this one about “daffodils” based on a great poem that is the perfect example how poetry can be a nightmare to illustrate particularly when the text has nothing to draw from except repetition and emotion based content from the same mind-image over and over again.
Here´s some pics and variations for that project.
It was nevertheless fun but extremely challenging to do.
