Not exactly my usual theme (I hate chickens) , but here´s a chicken pic I illustrated for a marketing studio sometime ago. This is the current campaign for an egg farm company here in Portugal using one of… Read More
I´m not sure if this can be considered a matte-painting or not because I actually never know exctaly where the boundaries are on those things. Although it´s based on scenery extensions, a bit of photobashing and textures, there´s… Read More

This is my new illustration portfolio website and at the same time my personal blog from now on.
Although it´s mainly an illustration blog to complement my professional work, the idea is also to post reviews about stuff that I like, comment on things that inspire me to create my artwork and answer the old question every illustrator gets all the time: - "Where do you get your inspiration ?!"
So you can count to find all kinds of stuff here; ranging from thumbnail sketches, rough paintings, color tests and old drawings to painting tutorials or generic sketches.
I´ll also be posting lots of drawings and comics from when I was a kid so be prepared.
You might see good art in this blog, but lots of unused bad one too; articles on illustration, drawing lessons and of course tips on how to get started if you want to become a miserable starving freelance artist too.
Don´t be surprised to also read here just plain ordinary movie reviews, books / audio-books sugestions, music stuff, etc, etc and etc.
In short, things that inspire me will be posted here.
Hope you enjoy all that is to come and thanks for stopping by too !.
If you are looking for a freelance artist or illustrator to work on your project don´t forget to continue to visit this www.icreateworlds.net here and use the top menu on the right to navigate the rest of this website, view my illustration portfolio and all my stuff; including my hiking photos if you enjoy coastlines and seascapes as I have my personal "Big Blue" around where I live too.
